They do say 10 is the magic number, so welcome one and all to my tenth The Mama Style List, my edit of things I have bought, want or am totally vibing.

Magical, metallic, minimal and mama glow – a few of my favourite things for stylish mamas right now.
Clockwise from top left:
- I love Finnish kids’ brand Papu‘s designs. They use a lot of quirky print designs with interesting colour palettes, fun silhouettes and super soft organic cotton jersey. I’m a particular fan of the Pitter Patter print, which is so autumnal in it’s colouring with a pattern that looks like fallen leaves. So, naturally I love the bodysuit, which I can so see on a certain Miss Lolo. It’s the kind of design too good to keep under wraps, I’m thinking tutu, clashing print leggings or just tights and Lolo’s swagger.
- I was lucky enough to be gifted a Customisable Light Box at the Next AW16 press day, which now takes pride of place in my living room. You see I’ve decided my home needs to be a good vibes only home, with loads of colour and print and funny additions to lift the mood. So, our light box says ‘Skin Teet’ which is a Jamaican Patois way of saying ‘a really, really, really big smile’. Cheese!
- Today sees the launch of H&M’s Studio AW16 Collection. I’m really impressed with H&M lately regardless, the kidswear is on point, but this capsule kids’ range is a whole other level. Available for 2-10 years old (sorry Baby Lolo), it has a magical, but fashionable fairytale vibe going on, with Zorro tailoring, including a mega cape, for boys, ruffles and Spanish-style embroidery on the girlswear and wonderful accessories, including the most beautiful guitar. Shop here.
- Zadie Smith is definitely up there as one of my favourite authors. She has a way of capturing cultures, particularly Londoners in a way that is pure genius. I’m also a fan of her rapper/ comedian/ actor Brother Ben Smith, who shared a Twitter pic of his well read preview of her new book Swing Time. The novel launches in November this year, telling the story of friendship, music, roots and rivalry against a backdrop of north London and West Africa.
- Free with the September issue of Elle was a tiny bottle of Benefit Dew the Hoola. I the illuminator fan, could not believe my luck, when it instantly gave my skin a naturally, dewy glow and it has now become part of my daily make up routine. It has tiny shimmering particals which give it that glow, but is a liquid form so perfect for those who like me suffer with dry skin.
- Maybe it’s age, but I’m really starting to appreciate the beauty of simple style. So, felt really chuffed to be able to put a pair of earrings from Adore Jewellery to the test. They’re small jacket earrings, which have an elegant teardrop shape and edgy spiky base, which balances my minimal v maximal taste. Adore Jewellery sell Swarovski crystal-blinged pieces that are affordable, but refined starting at £40 up to £100.
- I only meant to pop in on my way to the Car Park and yet their I was with a shopping bag full of new Zara clothes. You see I’m not your typical fashion blogger who rocks new clothes every week. I don’t floss like that and if I like wearing something, then I’d quite like to wear it again and again thank you. However, my wardrobe did need a statement midi skirt and I think I’ve found my dream style in the Shiny Pleated Skirt which is a kind of metallic ode to daytime disco. Check it out in my #ootd Instagram posts soon.
