THE STYLE LIST: NO.1

Hello and welcome to my very first ‘Style List’. I did wish list type posts in my blog’s infancy but thought it could be a good time to resurrect it, as I have my eye on so many things right now, it’s hard to squeeze everything into my regular posts. So each week the style list will feature some of the things I’m wishing for, buying, reading and entertained by or the scoop on any stylish newness for modern families.

These are a few of my favourite things this week.

These are a few of my favourite things this week.

Clockwise from Top Left

  1. I’ve always said I want to live where the palm trees grow, which is why I like to inject my home and wardrobe with as many bright colours and tropical prints, this Caribbean Queen can muster. H&M have just launched a new range of tropical interiors and I just had to buy this graphic Hay-like cushion cover by H&M {shop here}
  2. This week I’m wearing this deliciously sultry nail colour ‘Wardrobe’ by Topshop {Shop here}
  3. US Kids’ knitwear label Misha & Puff have released their new spring campaign. Beachy, bobbly and handmade in Peru. I love this shoot {shop here}
  4. I have done a massive order at Amara of desk candy and a stunning office chair to give me a dedicated and inspiring space to work from. As a list lover, one of my favourite pieces is this punchy Christian Lacroix notebook {shop here}. I have a small one in black I keep by my bed to note all my daily thankful fors, but I wanted another one for day to day thoughts and ideas.
  5. I like my earrings big, like really BIG, they work with my hairstyles and help me to feel alive on those days motherhood gets the better of my energy levels. So, I’m really by my latest Etsy discovery leather accessories treasure trove Chicago-based Boo and Boo Factory. My dilemma is which ones to buy first {shop here}
  6. Little MG was recently gifted this marvellous book. It’s a poem by Maya Angelou using paintings by one of my favourite artists Jean-Michel Basquiat that encourages children and grown-ups alike to face life with their heads held high  {shop here}
  7. I’ve signed up to Freeletics, a kind of online personal trainer, fitness coach of sorts to help me keep on track with my quest to get back my body. This will be my first week of training, I’ll let you know how I crawl through the work outs next week, but am looking forward to the challenge none the less {check it out here}
